Nonetheless, it was a funny mistake.
I wouldn't really run much over 9 lbs of boost on the stock 4.6. Although the block is pretty strong, somehow, the rest of the engine doesn't seem that stout to me. Plastic intake manifolds and hypereutectic pistons are not my thing.
