I've got a similar situation. I have new tires and I rebuilt the front end and had it aligned and still have the "shakes". I think it's in the drive train somewhere, either front or rear drive shaft. All the u-joints have been replaced (I've been busy working on the ol' Jeep) but that didn't cure it. I guess the drive lines were "worked on" by someone before I bought the Jeep and got the drive lines out of phase or maybe there is a slight bend in the rear shaft. It's been a shaker ever since I bought it.

A good drive line service outfit could figure it out. I think there is a Spicer service center in our area. I'm giving them the first shot.
