You can keep the auto ecu on most cars, but you will have really low rev limiter, and the ecu is not meant for a manual but it will work if you dont mind sacrificing a lot of power. Just buy a pm6 ecu, there only like 20-30 bucks.
For the dpfi to mpfi, yes the IM will bolt up, but its best to stay with same injectors and IM.(same gen.) And the distributors dont all bolt up the same. Sometimes you have to ghetto rig the mounts.

Almost all jdm parts came in d-series, the only ones that you could use are like d15b parts and sohc zc engine parts. These really arent worth the money for little if any performance gain..
