ps.....I saw "grill springs" on ebay for $15. Too much.
If this is what i am missing, how long are these springs so I can try to get them at a hardware/auto parts store.

No, this was the 5 mph days. The grill was hinged at the top and then held to the front of the car by two springs. You push, it springs back. I'm not sure how long the springs are. Mine are long gone.
