thanks for the suggestions, i put the rear wheels on jack stands, ran the tranny up to 50mph. No noise, as soon as i let it down and backed it out, there it was again. Pulled of the wheels, checked all the brakes, transfer case fluid, diff fluid, all was good. these darn u-joints have no grease erts. i'm stll baffeled.
