Happy Mother's Day. Here's some progress on my BMW 320i aka "Aubrey".
Tamiya makes a nice model. This 320i is my first Tamiya build. The parts are very clean and the fit is tight.
I did a black wash on the wheels, I think they came out nice. I used Rust-oleum 'Real Orange' Paint. To me it looks exactly like the colour Jagermeister uses. The coloring scheme called for gun-metal on some of the engine parts, my colour is way off. I painted that colour before I found a reference photos on the net. It's more a black-copperish colour irl. I'm thinking about changing it, even though my gun-metal blue is more bmwish.

The exhaust pipes call for flat white but the reference photo they're also that black-copperish colour.
Yeah, I think I'm going to redo the engine to look more like the reference photos. What do you think?
