Non functioning doors is part of the territory.
My '88 has had both rear doors and the driver's doo alternatly seize up on me. A thorough soaking down of the inside of the door with WD 40 helped. Just put the little red tube down the outside of the window between the glass and the black rubber flap and spray away, then try to lock and unlock the door repeatedly. If you are lucky, it may open.
Be thankful that the right front window still goes up and down. Every '88 bonne I have seen has the window popping out of the track and falling down, due to a manufacturing defect.
