Granted the biggest problem with the gearbox of the V12 Vanquish were the jerks during shifts and the reverse. However, in the 2004 model, it has gotten a lot better according what I have heard... But if you still go for the manual, I would not blame you, because there are plenty of people who think the manual shifter is more fun than the F1.
