That will be the ECU cut out. I think it has a cut out around the 11psi mark, kind of a safety thing. The turbo should normally boost to about 6psi but you can safely take it up to 11/12psi for normal use. Anything more that and prolonged use over a short time will either melt or charck your pistons, depending on which ones are fitted. I wouldn't worry about the misfire, it is a sort of reassurance that your not going to far. If yours cuts in about 10 it could be either the gauge is slightly out or maybe there is some slight variance between each ecu? There is a chip available for the Rover which is a complete con. It's quite literaly a resistor that costs about 3p and all it does is bypass the safety cut out.
