Ok, let me first apologize for Mrcoilover's attitude, and to Mrcoilover himself PLEASE CALM DOWN, and show some respect to other people and there beliefs. Now, on to the reason for my post. When I say "son of God", I do not mean to imply that Jesus is the son of Yahweh(God) in the human sense, father and son. However, a father-son relationship was the best way for Y'shua(Jesus) to describe the Triune God-head(Trinity) to us. The reason christians believe that we(humans) are created in Yahweh's image is not because of our physical shape, such as having 2 arms and 2 legs, but because of the fact that we are a three-part being. We are composed of a physical body, a mind(intellect, personality etc.), and a spirit, which is our eternal self. This then, is how we are created in Yahweh's image, for He too is a three-part being, most commonly called; Father,Son, and Holy Spirit. Each part of the Trinity is wholly God, but displaying, for lack of a better term, a different "side" of Him.
