Training Trip to Ft. Lauderdale, FL (56kers don't bother)

Here are some pictures that I took from my training trip down to Ft. Lauderdale FL. My College swim team was down there for 2 weeks.

This picture is taken the night we arrived, I was up in my hotel window.

This was the following day right before we left for our afternoon practice. We ran 2 miles at 5:30 a.m. everyday to the hall of fame pool, then we had afternoon practice from 2-4p.m.

This is part of the hall of fame pool during one of our meets down there. There are 2 main pools (you can see one in the background). Both are 50 meters.

Here is the other side of the pool and you can see the 10 meter diving platform and the diving well.

Here is one of my best friends from my team. His name is Ben Michaelson, and you guys should definitely watch for his name, because he is ranked 3rd in the WORLD in the 100 Fly. He also had the American record for the 50 fly, but Crocker broke that a couple months ago. Ben is going to Olympic Trials this summer out in Long Beach.

Here is one of our three 15 passenger vans that we had to squish into in order to goto afternoon practice....not very comfortable.

Thats me on the left holding the football with the dark blue bandana. Me and two other swimmers were REFS for a football game we hold every year. Its two guys (my assistant coach and my friend Mike Vs. 4 girls...the guys wine very year).

Thats the girls giving up yet another pass to Team Gemini (they actually had jerseys made up...haha

This is a picture of our last sunset in FL.

Well I hope you enjoyed my pictures, sorry I did not have more but these were the best ones that I could put together...
