An MSD igniton won't help.
And if you were to tune the car to get its power quicker you're not gonna make as much power. The Hondata and Mugen ECU's both make the redline higher and the Hondata makes the VTEC engage later on - this yeilds the most power. For more overall power, get an Intake first and Hondata (although that makes the power higher up which you may not like).
