I agree, the Grand Marq's are sweet rides!!!! I've owned an 84, and now a 93. Sweet rides.
One quick question. Does your Marq, have a Digital Speedometer?
I picked up a Code Reader from Schucks Auto the other day, and used it last night. LCD display. It was about $35.00. It picked up a 332 code that I am having a problem with.
Since yours is a 98, then a little different code reader may be required.
Just check with them and they should have to one for your year.
I get Check Engine light on after about 20 minutes of driving. The code suggests that there is a restricted flow.
