I was in the market for a new truck . I have read mostly good things about the Dodge 1500 Q.C 4x4 w/Hemi so I bought the truck last saturday. I was so impressed with the looks , handling , power, and over all feel of the truck. I mean I had the best feeling about my awesome truck. I was skeptical about buying at first because all my family and friends are driving Chevrolet and they said don,t buy a Dodge, they are cheaply made cars and you will have problems with it. So I tell all my friends & family, this is not a bad vehicle I have read up on it and there are no known problems that say don,t buy this truck. I guess its just my luck because I only have 400 miles on my new truck and I was about 200 miles away from home when my tranny takes a dump on me. The dealer that has my truck says that they will only replace the tranny if the repairs cost exceeds 70% of a new one. I mean even if they put a new one I am always going to be thinking whats going to break next. how can anybody not have these type of thoughts when a brand new vehicle has such a major problem with only 400 miles if I could take the truck back and get a full refund I guess I would. The sad thing is is I really loved my truck. Take this post for what it is just one problem out of many happy customers. This one bad experience has put a bad taste in my mouth that I don,t think can ever be removed.
