Started working on the car today (as I'm waiting for the airbrush and can't finish the Sierra without it).
Sanded off mold lines, sanded the body and the chassis and some of the front suspension (well, everything I won't be taking over from the Debis version).
Attached mirors
Attached rear wing
Attached the front splitter
Filled the hole in the underside that's supposed to be used for the electric switch
Prepared the interior for painting
Unfortunately, just as I was about to start panting it started snowing... And it's -25 degrees Celcius outside anyway
One thing I would like to say about grey (silver) plastic - it sucks! It was so easier with the white Debis body (RIP) I mean you can't see if you have removed the mold lines or not. Also the quality of parts seems to have dropped in comparison with the Debis car - quite a bit of excess plastic on some parts, and the little "bridges" that attach the part to the tree are THICK!!!
I decided I will be using the seat and the steering wheel from the Primera kit, as well as the Primera roll cage (which, btw, is FULL and BEAUTIFUL!)
Also did some work on the decal front: had my friend scan the decals from both the Debis and the Berlin 2000 kits for me to be able to work on them more easily. Also emailed a guy from the US who's selling the Studio 27 Schumacher decal set if he could scan the sheet for me

One needs to have hope!
Another update coming as soon as I finish the interior (except the rollcage) and prime the body. Which will happen as soon as it stops snowing (but probably not today)
