Re: 4th gen engines

yeah man, old school tech goes along way, i mean damn, my TPI engine, and TBI engine are dinosuars by todays standards, but like ive posted before, my L98 with 150,000 miles, who i know was abused by the previous owner, and who konws what by the retards before him, had never had a tune up, or emissions test in 14 years, bought her, brought her home, never a hiccup, did a few things for tune up, serivice and whatnot, and shes purrin like a kitten, and tears it up when i hit the gas, only thing i gotta adress is the typical small block chevy oil leak at the front and rear. and a valve cover i think. and the 160,000 miles on the RS hadnt fazed her, till that grease monkey dropped a nut down in a head and blew it. so now im running a jasper unit. but yeah, both engines, give em a tune up, and theyd run just as good as they came off the line.
