In Progress: Initial D BNR32 Skyline GT-R

This one been sitting on my bench for months now.

It's a Tamiya R32 Skyline. Yes yes, I know Fujimi makes the official Initial D version, but it just SUCKS! So I went with Tamiya since it has engine details and the body is much more accurate.

There was only 1 problem, Tamiya's R32 was the normal version, but the Initial D is V-Spec II....the only exterior visual difference was the 2 intake holes in the front bumper. That was easily taken care of with a cutter and alittle putty

The car is basically stock. The comic or anime never explained what Nakazato had done to his car. Also, his car was completely stock looking anyways, so I didn't bother adding anything.....except for this boost guage I noticed watching the 1st episode of 2nd Stage.

Stock engine bay~

So how can this be the Initial D version if everything is stock? You ask.
Here's how:

LOL~ Decals!

I hope to finish this one within the next couple of days. All that's left is the body, windows....maybe another coat of paint, just maybe.

Tell me what you guys think
