Thanks for the tip. It is a very expensive kit I agree, but your in-progress thread makes the kit seem really worth it!!!
Another way to look at it is that the Tamiya kit is now discontinued and the Scale Motorsports kit is a limited edition. I'm not a kit hogger, but if I don't manage to start it, in a few years it could be worth quite a bit on ebay
