Yeah, Ive seen a few that didn't deteriorate, but I would have to say I 've seen more bad ones than good. I would think it's mostly the way it's put on that makes the difference. Most the tint jobs I've seen, are by people who have done it themselves, but i've seen a couple of crappy professional jobs too.

I have only ever had it on two vehicles myself, including this car, but both were poorly done. The passenger side window on my present car is all wrinkled, and looking through it, is like looking through the bottom of a drinking glass, everything looks all distorted. Not to mention it makes the car look like hell. So at this point I'm probably just gonna peel it off, and be done with it.

Thanks for the advice, sounds like something I'm gonna have to set aside a couple of hours for, to clean all the goo off. I was hoping that wasn't the case. Oh well, it'll give me something to do I guess.
