Well, this section USED to have a topic stuck at the top (not that anyone payed any attention to it) that described how this secton was meant as a repository of information with answers to frequently asked questions, but I guess Schlud gave up on trying to enforce that.

Anyway, I'd re-post your question in the Radio/GPS(/electronic) section, and include more information like what year you have, and which brake you're referring to, parking (foot or hand operated depending on year) vs. the main brake pedal.
