Check your Fuel Pressure, and if that's fine, have the injectors tested, or at least looked at. The Gas pedal actually dosen't use more gas, it just opens the throttle plate up, when more air goes through thr throttle, the MAF sensor picks it up, and says more gas.

So your gas pedal is actually an air pedal
