Ok, so I have a Momo Apache steering wheel. I bought it for my 91 eclipse I had. Well, I was trying to get it to fit the Lancer, and the only problem is, my american conversion ki, well its to small. The conversion kit just about fir everything from the late 60's on, and so they now decided to change the circumfrance size of the splines. Aint dat a bitch. Any way, I was trying to see iof any body had done it yet, turns out its really simple. Don't have to mess with dis assembling the airbag unit or the stock steering wheel like I thought. Nope, All you got to do is look for the hole on the left underside of the wheel, positioned about 8 oclock on the left hand side. Its a hex screw, very deep. You pop that little bad boy out, unplug the horn, airbag, and cruise, and walla...the wheel and airbag unit pop right off. They built this with an aftermarket steering wheel in mind, just need a conversion kit, that you can mount the cruise control switch too (if only they had mounted it on the turn signal like every other car for the last 15 years). No they had to mount it to the wheel, so, as soon as theres is a conversion kit, my momo wheel will be there. So know you know how it's done.

Damn cruise control
