If you still need to know how to get the side pannel off ill tell you. It is actually quite easy if you have an 89 like mine. First thing you have to do is remove the coat hook thing and the piece where the seatbelt goes in (remember when putting your truck back together to make sure the seatbelt screw is in really tight.) After that you should be able to just pop off the top to get to the side pannel. When you get it off there wont be much room. You can only move the side pannel about 3-5 inches from the side of the vehicle. that should get you right to the speaker and then you can cut the wires or do what i did and buy new ones for it. (they should be 4x6's) If you need anymore help just let me know ill be glad to help if i can.
