Well yes it is best to have hondata or something of the sort. Alot of people use a safc to do the trick. The most important thing with these cams is to get the valve springs. Get the crower springs, don't buy any other brand spring! Also you will want to consider putting in some higher compression pistons too, they are not a must have for the cams to work but if you want all that they are capable of then yoiu need them. I have the same cams an d I think they are great, they are not nearly as crazy as most people make them out to be. For the short time I had them installed they idled great, almost stock even.
