You can lower your car properly for much lower than that. First, dont rush into anything, make sure you research off of interent sites. I got my brand new Eibach Pro Kit off of ebay for $190.....I wish I had waited a little longer, but I had to get it. Last time I checked out
www.groupbuycenter.com, they had the pro kit with KYB AGX shocks (i got them) for $190 +shiiping, very cheap. Coils are good too, but more $, plus after a while, all the crap builds up in it, and you can barely adjust it. Weapon R is good for coils, along with Ground Control. For springs, Eibach, H&R,. I hope this helps. I was charged $250 to install everything, shocks/struts, and alignment.
