Hey all, im a new poster to this side of the automotiveforums realm, and just thought id ask you guys a few questions.

Well first off i am deffinetly thinking about buying this red 67 stang. It has a 302, split bench seats, mag wheels, and some other things. It looks very nice aesthetically, it doesnt have any major dings or scratches, the paint looks "OK", but could use a fresh coat, and i noticed that on the exhaust tips there was some red paint from over-spray, i dont know if this is because one of the previous owners spray painted it, or what..but it doesnt really look like a rattle can job. The interior is extremely nice.

The owner right now doesnt know if it will pass emissions since he has not driven the car in a little while. so i will have him check that out for me.

Some of the questions i have are :

1) What are some problems that i should look for with this car..any problems that seem to plague these vehicles?
2) What are some other good forums to get help on this year mustang?
3) what are some good sites to find performance parts for this year stang?

(PS: the guy is asking 5,500 obo....but with some of the things that i have seen i would offer about 3,500 or so.. too low, high?)
