you know what i have learned? you can't please everybody all the time. if you do a bunch of show things to your car you're looked down on by the "race" community. and it goes the other way.

the other night we were out in jer's si. let me tell you, the outside of his car isn't exactly purty. but he could care less, he has a b16 under his hood and that is what makes him happy. so we're in a parking lot at the roach coach (mmm, taaaccos) when a guy comes out of one of the stores and gets into his 5th gen. i wish i had my camera. this car was completely redone to look like the 3 5th gens in F&F...down to the green neon. okay, whatever floats his boat. he gets in and pulls out of the parking lot like a normal driver but as soon as he's passing us he stomps on it. at this point jer and i exhange a that guy just auto assumed because jer's car looks like ass it had to be slower than his. where jer's thoughts were: maybe you could could kinda hang next to me if you had spent the money on engine rather than being F&F.

so i say....screw what people think. there is always going to be SOMEBODY out there talking smack no matter what you do. do what makes you happy since you are the only person who will be driving it daily
