I had a 2000 Chevy Cavalier and I took apart my dash MANY times. I had so much stereo stuff in my car, it was AWESOME. I went to comps and won stuff. Anyways...You'll probably have to take it back to the dealer or take it to the pro's and let them wire it now. You're dumbass boyfriend already F'd it up. Wire harnesses are EASY to come across for the 2000 model today. When I got my 2000 Cavy back in 1999 it was HARD as hell to come across one.
