I follow... its what I meant but I couldn't find the words, I was rushing through it at work..
what I meant to say (but didn't) was make sure the knock off dremel will at least accept the "real" dremel collets and tools.. so you can utilize them obviously
The real dremels are quite expensive. seriously. I had a couple cheap copys that were OK and did the trick... i dunno, buyer beware I guess. I do have a nice battery operated actual dremel and its superb. sounds to me DJ like the one your getting is barebones.. maybe use it till you can afford a better one, (save your reciept) then return it and get something better, thats what I did
