Help with Nitrous
Anyone have any info for me?
I have a 2000 Civic Ex, which I plan to do an engine swap with a B18C5 in a couple of years. Right now I’m just scraping together money for suspension. Until then I want to pull some fun out of the stock. I was looking in to a dry Nitrous system but I couldn’t decide on a company: Nos, Venom, or Zex.
I have a couple of questions, if I go with the dry system do I still have to change or reprogram my ECU?
And do I have to upgrade my fuel to 92 octane if I go with the dry?
Also, I read that the Zex system is fully computerized where Nitrous is injected only when the throttle is fully open. All you control is when you open the bottle. Is this system better than the systems where you manually control the injections?
