Check out:
http://huizen.dds.nl/~celica/en/celihist.htm It has a breakdown of production by year, but unfortunately not by country. However, I did find on another site the US production number, but I'm having trouble finding the site address. If I remember correctly it's no more than 4,000 imported over 4 years ('90-'93) with only like 26 being imported in '93. I'm kinda looking for one now myself...either an All Trac or Talon TSI AWD/Eclipse GSX, but it seems to me a lot of work (and money) has to be done to get power out of the Celica compared to the DSM's. My bud Jeremy has a '91 All Trac...TONS of stuff done to it: CS front end and hood, full ss exhaust, full TRD (I think) coilover suspension including swaybars and bushings, AP big brake kit all around, and recently bought a complete ST205 engine (wiring harness, turbo, and everything) and is balancing and blueprinting it top to bottom. He works at a Ferrari dealership in DC so he has contacts all over the globe so he can get parts mad cheap. Do a search on
www.autotrader.com and look all over the US for them. I found about 5 or 6 for sale with reasonable miles, but they're all '90 models since that year was the most imported.
