Have you tried using one of those little tools to put pressure on the piston and to move it back. Take the cover off you brake fuid cannister and try using a vise that's usually what we use and it keeps us from bleeding the brakes over.

No.. the piston is compressed all the way... but the pivot point on the caliper (opposite of the caliper B bolt) is supposed to slide freely in and out to allow movement for the outside portion of the caliper. And this pivot point is siezed up. had to work hard to get it to pivot even, and it wont slide at all. There in lies my problem.
