My Mr. Color Thinner is very old; I've just ordered some more, I didn't get the color leveling stuff. I hope the stuff I've ordered is the same as what I had in the past! It's worth a try, it really makes the paint flow more like enamel w/o giving it more plastic-harming chemicals. I thinned the paint to a consistency that flowed well in my airbrush, perhaps a bit thicker than I would shoot clear, as the color goes on dead flat. It's smooth, not grainy.
