Re: To Helen Keller, oops, killer keller!
Yes there is such thing as a 2.4 ltr quad4, its just a jump up from the 2.3 ltr quad4, they just don't put quad4 on the engine due to the 2.3 quad4 bad rep. And yes I have had my car on a dyno, my uncle's mechanic shop has one. Basically all i've done to my car are bolt on application, you know hand made cross exhaust with some 14830 magnaflow mufflers. I also redesigned my air intake box like specified on another Aurora forum I found and put in a K & N filter. I also added a performance chip. Just to give you a few minor upgrades that I have done to the car performance.
Here is what I found about the Achieva:
the W-41 Quad4 is only available in the Acheiva SCX for 92/93,hp is 190.A VTECH eater!!!These cars were limited editions so they are hard to find!An Acheiva SC is only a HO Quad4 so watch for the SCX!The Quad4 when mated to a 5-spd transmission can take a lot of V-8s to the cleaners!!
I use to have a 2.3 HO in my Grand Am I owned.
And now the 2.4 ltr engine I spoke of:
2.4 liter Twin Cam.The motor is similar to a Quad4 with .1 more Liter. The Twin Cam puts out a very modest 150hp.
Found this info on a GM history website (copied and pasted it) for your information, so don't tell me I don't know what I am talking about.
