Yeah you can keep your stock tranny, but with upgrading to the better engine with vtec, the lx tranny wont let you accelerate as quickly as say an SI tranny would. However, yes it will work. I think youre plan works, sounds good to me, keep us all updated on your progress and plans. Dont know prices on all of what youll need, and the best place I've found to call, I dont know if youve heard of them, ForeignEngines.
