Sequoia Sending Unit problem
The best way is get your Digital camera and capture when it is happening then bring it with you to the dealer. Also I suggest you send directly to TOYOTA manufacture for a record. It happened to me lately. my oil sending unit from my 2003 Sequoia is malfunction. This happened intermittenly. Some time the needle go all the way dowm to the minimum (rest) level when I hit 70 mile per hour. This scared me to dead!! I brought in dealer at least 3 times, but no luck even I mentioned to them that there is the TSB for this problem. The technician always said "they cannot duplicated". until I used my digital camera and captured the incident then sent directly to Manufacture included the technician name. 2 days later I got a call from Tech Support suggested me to bring in a difference Dealer then the Oil sending unit replaced in about 3 hours. Now it is working normally.
