Good to hear you decided to keep the car. I don't know if it is the cold asphalt (40-50ish by 9PM there) or if the concrete pad extension fucked up the track. But over the summer I didn't have any problems getting 2.2x's. The best 60' I've managed over the winter is a 2.421. That track sucks!! You're better off going to Carlsbad.
RE: traction, subframe connectors seem to help the wheel hop problem and you should be getting 2.0s with the DRs there.
