The 951 is the internal model designation for the 944 turbo. There are two street model versions. The 951 was first intruduced in 1985 1/2 as an 86 model. It had 217 HP and 243 tq. Dual airbags and ABS were added for 87, 88. For 88 1/2 the tusbo S was intruduced. The turbo S is the road version of the "Cup Race car". Major difference was in the DME, Brakes, Suspension.
