I got the $2000 cost of the turbo setup because I was going to use the Zdyne Gold SECU for fuel management with high flow injectors. That alone is $1200. Zdyne is perfect because it is programable and can run various engine set-ups. Basically whatever I do to any motor I put in my CRX the ECU can be programed to control it. The turbo and parts cost less than $800. Boosting a D16 is cheap but you get what you pay for. My advice for any turbo build is that fuel management should be the first investment. There are other options and less cost for fuel management but I think Zdyne is the best option for serious tuners.
