HXMan - nitrous enticement
Just to continue to peak your interest in nitrous, here's a report from my buddy that helped with with my JRSC install and bunch of other stuff.
He's got an ODB1 Civic hatch with a JDM B16A, ITR head using the JDM B16A cams, stock internals, an intake, MSD ignition, NGK racing plugs, a distributor trick (he doesn't tell me everything), 50 shot of nitrous, ACT racing clutch, and 3" diameter exhaust plumbing leading into a Ractive 3" exhaust. I believe that's about all for the mods.
Running using slicks with 10 psi of pressure in each tire up front and 109 octane racing fuel, he pulled a 12.6 in the 1320 last weekend!! That blows many JRSC'd cars (like mine) away by a good second. Just goes to show you don't need to go crazy spending money to get your car faster than sin (oh, by the way, he's also an outstanding driver, very experienced in the 1320).
