Recirculating ball steering is adjustable for slack sounds like the 92 was setup loose from start. I have a 99 with this same steering and it is crisp and precise. Rack and pinion steering is basically non adjustable what the factory gives you is what you get. If you got a tight one good deal you get a loose one and well it is loose for life.
