First of all the factory speakers are not a 6 1/2", they are a 6 3/4". A 6 1/2" will not even cover the opening in the door, not completely anyways. If you are going to use a 6 1/2", you will need to fabricate some sort of bracket or mounting plate. Cruthfield sells these exact snap-in brackets I think for around $12. A 6 3/4" will fit nicely with no brackets or modifications needed. Just align your new speaker and mark your pilot hoes for drilling. Most major speaker manufacturers make a nice 6 3/4" drop-in. Some even have 2 or 3-way component sets that sound excellent. I deal with this everyday, I work for a mobile sound shop in VA. The 4X6's in the rear are another story. You will likely have to replace those with another 4X6 pair, unless you want to do some extensive cutting.
