Well, you are not the only one, PMan. My other pt.time job [was full time over the summer] [Utility Operator, for recovery boilers at the local paper mill] everyone else for the position has the whole week off as well as many others. It will be a skeleton crew week, and I will end up working like a slave. Starting boxing day, until Jan 3rd, I will be working 12hr night shifts, like it or not. If something screws up royally there, I have no idea what we are going to do, I will probably get a crash course in millrighting
So at the start of the new yr, while everyone is partying it up, I will be drenching in sweat, doing the 1/2 shift ash pull, shovelling hot ash out of the recovery boilers
Im not overly impressed about it either.
