I'm the same as you Jay. I use them for storing decals, plastic, spare parts and whatnot.
Also for other things like holding parts of the kit I'm working on. For example, the parts start off in the "off the sprue" box, then move to the "ready for painting box" next the "decaling" box and finaly to the "complete, ready to be assembled" box.
