Coilover spring sleeves are what it basically is. A separate part of the shock. Whereas a "TRUE" coilover system the shock and coilover are integrated togther.

In my personal opinion there is no real difference except price. I've been running Ground Control coilover sleeves on Koni Yellows and i know plenty of other competitors in my class who do the same.
