No. EVAP uses a vacuum to draw 'fumes' out of the plenum area into the charcoal cannister. Id look for a burned vacuum line somewhere or depending on system, a bad check valve. The is pretty much a generic OBD2 code you gave, can you be more specific on what it came from?
