You have plenty of space, the next thing to consider is where your fumes are going to go. You need to get them out of that space as best you can. You either need to get good airflow going through the garage (great for clearing fumes, but can blow dust and grit all over your fresh paint) or rig up dome kind of extraction system. The first option is cheaper, and to be honest what I do... It's all about compromise. The ideal solution is to spray in a clean room with filtered air supply and extraction system like the pros have. However that's unrealistic even for most pro modelers. I'd go with a good respirator, like you have, ventilate your spraying area as best you can and maybe think about either buying or building a spray booth if you think you need it.
