it really depends on the sub, amp, and how long the sub is put to work.
A true 460 watts can AND cannot hurt the sub (if it is truely rated at 400w). Putting it on test tones for a long time will generate more heat, which eventually leads to thermal overloading.
But since it's music, music will be dynamics. Its never 460w constantly, so you're amp can dip as low as 0 watts on some songs. I wouldn't worry with that extra 60 watts. Set your gain correctly and you should have no problem.
