I love TVR as well, and yes they've pretty much got every aspect of a car spot on (unfortunately there is compromise in safety). But there is a bigger flaw than safety - their reliability. It's very bad. Read owner comments on PistonHeads and you will see what I mean. However, I will be fair to TVR: their a very small and limited company in terms of resources (HR, capital goods, finance backing) with no backing from a major car manufacturer conglomerate, and yet they manage to stay on par with the likes of Porsche, Ferrari, etc. Their reliability is poor, and their cars ar made entirely by hand (machine used for engine parts, which I think are outsourced, or any other parts that are outsourced, of which I don't think are many), but not many cars are reliable when made by hand. But TVRs have some good USPs - awesome paint schemes, lightweight, etc. If the car was made with an automated system, and the reliability was poor, then there would be an underlying issue to be solved.
