Many people get hung up with the notion that if a setup is more for race it is better, and that your car will perform better. This is not true, you may have the big name, the expensive setup but many of these shocks are not valved nor are the spring rates designed to give you any practical driving comfort, and many times on bad roads, the car handles worse than a 78 ford pickup with cracked leaf springs, just because it was not designed for our trips to Target.
